Been Making the Rounds and Forming Connections with Author Visits

I’ve been very fortunate the past few weeks to have visited several schools to not only share my books, but to make powerful connections with the students, while bringing my stories to life for them.  It has been a total blast engaging with these wonderfully bright young minds.

And my main man, musician Tevin White came along with me for the ride.  Yes, the boys are back in town and headed to a school near you!

Here’s a list of the schools we’ve visited thus far:

Tandem Friends, Charlottesville, Virginia

Linwood Holton Elementary, Richmond, Virginia

Peabody School, Charlottesville, Virginia

Johnson Elementary, Charlottesville, Virginia

Cale Elementary, Charlottesville, Virginia

Chancellor Street School, Charlottesville, Virginia

Plus, The Girl Who Carried Too Much Stuff participated in the Well-Read Child Book Fair in Washington D.C. late last month.

Another happy reader at the Well Read Child Book Fair in Washington D.C.

Next up – Smithland Elementary, Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Watch out Smithland, we are headed your way!

Let me know when you’d like me to visit your school.
